Support right of return for Palestinian refugees because its the right thing to do. For if you do not do so it means that any one can go to another people's homeland and take their personal private properties from them by force including your own some day even though you think it could never happen to you. Right of return is legal and is already a UN law and resolution with in our world body court the United Nations. The only thing standing in the way of this law being fully enforced and implemented is the United States of America. So tell me America... What has the people of Palestine ever done to you?

"We were so grateful to find out about the Israel option, but very sad that no one in the States had even suggested it," Ruth says.
Over the past 10 years, Ruth and hundreds of other women have turned the Jewish state into a magnet for would-be mothers with infertility problems. As medical costs in the United States soar, Americans are increasingly traveling to Israel as "medical tourists" in search of safe, effective solutions. Israel's reputation as a leader in medical research and technology, combined with Western hospital standards and relatively low fees, has made that decision all the easier.

Hasan Abu Nimah, The Electronic Intifada, 29 July 2009  European Union foreign policy chief Javier Solana surprised observers on 11 July when he called, during a speech in London , for the UN Security Council to recognize a Palestinian state by a certain date even if no agreement had been reached between Israelis and Palestinians.
On its face, this proposal sounds dramatic. There must be some who still believe that a Security Council decision would result in real and drastic action. The reality, however, is that the Security Council is not the powerful executive organ it was created to be.
Yet Solana clearly angered Israel by daring to make such a proposal. Israel is not used to being surprised, and normally the big powers consult it before making any major statements about the Middle East situation. This time it seems Solana did not seek the proper Israeli permission. Yet the Israeli anger itself seemed to give added credence to the idea that Solana must have said something significant.

The Hamas-controlled territory poses a supposedly existential threat to Israel (and Jews everywhere.) But this is only one side of the besieged Strip. And much of it is blatantly untrue.
This video is an attempt to paint an alternative Gaza. Hatred exists there – I saw and heard it and challenged the conflation of Israel with Judaism – but what I found was something else entirely. Entire neighbourhoods flattened by Israeli missiles. Destroyed buildings with families living inside them. Refugee camps caused by IDF incursions. Beautiful singing and poetry sung by eager men. A will to survive and thrive despite the belief that the world, including the Arab neighbours, have forgotten their plight. Rappers desperate to tell the Palestinian narrative to the world and reflect a Gazan sensibility.

The newly appointed commander of US-led troops in Afghanistan says he does not plan to halt controversial air strikes which have killed many civilians in the war-torn country.
Gen Stanley McChrystal emphasized the blitz were necessary to protect troops taking part in ground operations across Afghanistan.
